Making it easy in NSW: 2008-09 Annual Update

Making it easy in NSW, the second report on the NSW Government’s performance in reducing regulatory burden was released in October 2009. The Annual Update outlines 120 red tape reforms that saved business, government and the community time and money over the 12 months to June 2009.

The report clearly sets out how the Government is delivering on its promise to cut red tape by providing a number of case studies across agencies that have simplified requirements, reduced delays and made interaction with government easier. The Annual Update also contains an update on progress towards meeting the NSW Government commitment to cutting red tape by $500 million by June 2011.
